Did you know?
The Annual Book and Bake Sale is This Saturday, December 2: Baked Goods, Book Sale, and Raffle Baskets!

We will be closed the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day,
Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day (12/25/23).
The Zadoc Long Free Library serves all the residents of Buckfield, Hartford, and Sumner. It is free for persons of any age to use the library, borrow books, movies, audiobooks, and study kits.
Patrons from other towns pay a fee of
ten dollars per year, to be members.
It is our goal to provide materials and resources for information, entertainment, education, and enrichment, as well as an enjoyable place to spend time for people of all ages.
We have access to the CloudLibrary and programs provided by the Maine State Library, which you may access with your library card.

Reader's Advisory:
We would love to help you choose books for your learning, interests, and reading pleasure. If there is a book, audio book, or movie that is not available at our library, we can request it through our Interlibrary loan system. Materials arrive each week from libraries all over Maine and the United States.
